We combine theoretical learning with practical experience, supported by rotations across the Insurance & Asset Management Technology business lifecycle. You will learn application and technology architecture processes such as analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and also gain exposure to operations, maintenance, and support of live production environments.

The AI Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating artificial intelligence solutions into business processes to drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, and foster innovation. This position is responsible for building intelligent systems that empower teams, streamline workflows, and unlock new opportunities across the organization. By combining technical expertise with a people-centric approach, the AI Engineer ensures that advanced AI capabilities translate into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Working within a dynamic technology ecosystem, the role engages with:

• AI platforms and tools for automation, natural language processing, and machine learning
• Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) supporting scalable AI solutions
• Collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, JIRA, and Confluence
• Data management and analytics frameworks that enable actionable insights and predictive capabilities

Additional Information

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be under 30 years of age
• Maximum of two years’ work experience
• Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
